My favorite set of red fruit platters are on their way to England to their new home. Thank you so much, Saoirse, I wish they´ll bring you joy :)

First snow

It´s not even November yet and it´s snowing in Estonia, just like that

 It´s quite nice to add dry firewood at a fireplace, sip hot herbal tea and burn a candle after candle while working inside, knowing that all of the outdoor works has been done. I´ll show you my very own snowflakes, these ones won´t melt when you put a cup of hot drink or a candle on them. They will only shine more and bring some nice and cozy thoughts, here they are, catch them if you can *************

And there are some silvery cones hanging outside on our huge fir trees, I took some inside -  nature really makes wonderful things :

Murphy´s law

Yay - all of my custom orders have been filled by today and I´m really satisfied. After pretty sleepy beginning of the year, I suddenly got so many custom orders. I love when I have much work but this time it was a bit more complicated - I had a part of my left lung removed in April and I could´t work after that for a while. Luckily I had such a great customers, who totally understood the situation and were happy to wait til I got better.

Here are some of the custom orders I filled after the op:

For my Mother

Yep, I´ve got the best Mom in the world. I´m sure your´s is pretty good as well :) Today´s blog post is for her, for my mother Merike. I have written few poems for her, but this one is my favorite. It´s in Estonian language and I´m not going to translate it, so you´ll just have to take my world - she is the best :)

Kulda ja mulda

Võtan pääsulinnu sabasiilu,

rünkpilvede hallika viiru,

meelespea õie sinise värvi

tilgakese kõiki meresi, jõgesi ja järvi.

Võtan pihutäie võilillekulda,

maapõuest sooja musta mulda,

soo ja raba magedat vett,

mesikärjest pisut mett.

Võtan tõusu, võtan mõõna,

päikseloojangu- ja tõusu lõõma.

Võtan lume õhukese koore,

pakse pehmeid uduloore.

Korjan mõned liivaterad

kõue kuumad tulekerad.

Võtan pilved, päikse, tuule,

vormub sõnum neist, kas kuuled?

Sina, Ema, oled kõige algus,

oled soojus, oled valgus.
